I can do first-letter navigation from box to box either with Control Y or by Shift Tabbing and going to Favorites. That is good. Control U does nothing in 2013, but I do like Outlook.

That as they say is an oldy but goody. However, in outlook 2013, one has the ability to only display all or unread messages.
