Yes, you can send email while a file is downloading. It won't halt
your download.
Regarding the speaking of the END TASK dialog which pops up when you
press CTRL-ALT-DEL, HJ is very aware of that problem. Many people
have written to them about this. But, you're welcome to add your
voice to the list. :)
