I am not completely sure this is the answer to your question. This is the
fix for the task bar if you are running Windows 98. I am posting it to the
list as an addendum to my previous message concerning Windows 98 settings
and JFW.
Again, I can only take credit for saving this message.

1. Place PC cursor on Task Bar and hold Shift + Control down while rapidly
pressing [ twice.
2. Type: TaskBar
3. Tab once and answer "Yes" to prompt regarding the overwriting of the
previous entry.
4. Tab to "Save in Frame File" and down arrow to "Default".
5. Tab to "Echo Group" and select "Silent"
6. Tab to "Hot Key" and press Insert + F11. When you are prompted to
overwrite a previous assignment to the JKM file, select "Yes".
7. Tab to "OK" and press Enter.
When you press Insert + F11, JFW will now read the applications displayed
on the Task Bar.

I know this scenario has been played out a number of times on this list, so
a private response will suffice. I recently set up shop on a new system.
I no longer have the multi-step answer on how to cure the problem when
trying to use the insert-F11 keystroke combination.
Would someone be so kind as to email the answer my way?
