Hi steve:
If i'm not mistaking the volume control utility that comes with the awe32
is the same as the one that comes with the awe64, which is the one I have.
This is very speech friendly. The controls speak as a percentage, e.g. 50%
is halfway up. You can tab among the different outputs, wave, cd, midi,
master etc and use the arrows to adjust them, and there are checkboxes to
mute and unmute the varios outputs. If you tap the alt key and press down
arrow, you'll open the options menu. Select preferences, and you can
choose record mixer settings. Hit enter, and you can setthe various record
sources e.g. mic, line etc.
