Hi:
I will say that I would never scan a document directly into a word
processor like ms word or wordpad without the automatic document feeder.
When using the ADF, all the pages  get scanned in and then all the ocr
takes place at once, andyou're dumped back into the word processor.
Scanning pages one at a time directly into wordpad is much too cumbersome a
process.
