You can get the Visual Basic v5 scripts from the HJ site, and take a look at
the vb tech note in the Jfw32\TechNote\ folder on the drive you've got Jaws
installed on. That file gives keystrokes to access the different items in
the Toolbox--at least the 20+ that are on the Toolbox by default. Also,
load the vb5.jss file and change all references from vb5 to vb6, and of
course, rename the files themselves to vb6.*, and that will make the macros
that were used in vb5 accessible in vb6--specifically the Insert+F7, which
will put those 20+ default toolbox items into a manageable menu.
At present, to access any controls/components that might get placed on the
Toolbox by selecting the Component list and accessing those components will
have to be accessed at that level, rather than the Toolbox.
I'm currently working with a couple of sighted VB gurus, and trying to find
an alternative to the Toolbox access...at least while we work on some
scripts to gain access.
What ever happened to the Microsoft Accessibility Team? They were damn sure
asleep on that project! If they would just their own standards, we'd get
better access.
