Another suggestion is that you may have not installed the converters for
WordPerfect when you installed MS Office.

Subject: Word Perfect to Word 97 conversion challenge continued

Hello List,

So far no luck on my problem. I have downloaded and installed SR1 and SR2
from microsoft, and now about 8 download hours and 30 some megabytes later,
the same results as before. When I try to open one of my word perfect files
from word 97 I get the conversion dialog, but ther are no options there for
word perfect. When I try the recover text from any file, all I get is junk.

There has to be a automatic way to do this simple task, especially when
people keep telling me that they are able to do it. I don't have the time
to go into word perfect and manually retrieve every single file and re-save
it in word format. I hope someone can help.

Thanks again.

-Matthew
