Hi jamal and thanks for reporting resolution of your situation. this is
a good example of why I spend hours telling people off list that often
times, it is not the video drivers that are at falt or the video card.
Some times, even though we may think otherwise, we need to make sure
those settings are set properly. I overlooked this in my attempt to
assist jamal.
If those settings should not make a difference and the fact that they do
is a symptom of incompatible video then would someone please let us
know? I think it is but not in the same way. we should be able to have
our settings just as customized as any one. I hope you are working on
this. The one thing that saddened me about outspoken for the mack years
ago was the fact you had to use black and white. This is similar to
that situation. we can't use this or that because it makes jfw crash or
behave detrimentally.
