Hello there. Well, I don't know if this will help you but I have a similar
problem on my desktop computer when I have the resolution set to 800 x 600.
The empty a: drive goes when I launch JFW and also if I move over its icon
in the programs list - even when it is already working and authorised. Weird
stuff.
Cheers,
Kellie.

Subject: Floppy drive activity
Hello!
I wrote to the list a litle while ago with a question and did not get a good
answer so i'll try again.
I have installed jfw3.0 using diskettes and also installed an authorization
key. Now when jaws starts up and shuts down, it searches the empty drive a:\
to find a key which is on drive c:\. It's not nesessary to search the
a-drive for the key and i don't want to have the key in drive a: i want to
have it on c: which it is now. How do i prevent JFW from searching drive a:
for keys? I've seen a solution to this problem on the list a long time back
and i can't for the life of me remember what the actual solution was.
If someone knows the answer to this problem, please e-mail me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the solution.
Thanks in advance.
/Krister
