Hello Listers!!
Thanks to all who tried to help with this problem. I finally got OB and
JfW to co-exist on my machine without crashing, but not without sacrifice.
Although I had followed the instructions correctly when trying to implement
the steps in the tech bulletin from Arkenstone and my got reports that the
files had been copied successfully, I found that when I tried it a third
time I got a different result. I now can get OB to run and can then switch
back to JFW without difficulty. the change that I notice now that I am
using the SSIL driver rather than the DTE driver is that the reading is
quite choppy in programs such as Eudora and MS word. I suspect this is
because of the driver? If I can ask just one more question, is there a way
to adjust buffers or text delays or something to decrease this hesitation
and choppiness?
Thanks to all for your paitnece and help. If you cannot get this to work,
I suggest repeating the procedure. I have been told by Arkenstone that it
is not unusual for the copying of these files not to take initially.
