Hi, Listers,

After all the recent talk and horror stories about problems moving the
authorization keys, I ran into a problem there myself.

I tried following instructions in the everlock faq that came with JFW to
move the key from my hard drive back to the authorization disk (to run a
defrag) on the hd by typing

c:\jfw32\evmove c: a: /b

from the DOS prompt.

this would not move the key, however. the error message I got was

"bad command or file name."

After that, I also tried the "winmove" command, but that informed me it had
found no authorization on my hard drive.

Fortuantely, the authorization is still in place and Sharky is talking.
However, I can't seem to move the key back to the authorization disk and
don't dare running any program that could shoot the key.

Can I trust the authorization manager to move my key back to the
hathorization disk? I vaguely remember reading about problems with that.

I am running version 3.20.09 of JFW, that is I installed no patch for.it as
I like and need a feature with the passwords that a later patch killed.

I hope this isn't considered off topic. I am hoping to hear from you guys
out there. any advice is appreciated.

Ciao,

Doris
