Hello, Bruce. Before taking the drastic step of reinstalling Windows, why
not try running Dr. Jaws from the JAWS cd first? Perhaps it can find out
what went wrong. When IE is being set up, it closes down all programs,
including JAWS at the end of things. Since your pc crashed, there may be
temporary files in your Windows directory from the setup. I know on my pc,
if I go to add remove programs via start/settings/control panel, Internet
Explorer setup files are listed as files I can uninstall. I would try
deleting the temp files first before running JFW, if you can't run JFW use a
dos screen reader if you hae one. If you need help with doing any of this,
please write to me privately as not to clutter up the list.
