One reason why I suspect that IE5 is to blame for the messed up taskbar is
because my taskbar read just fine before installing IE5 and was messed up
after the install. My desktop and folder views and control panel still
work the same though so it didn't change those elements to active ones. My
guess, and this is only a guess, is that the taskbar graphics are being
presented differently somehow and JFW does not know how to read this new
presentation.
