I've noticed that there has been a lot of traffic on being able to, (or the
lack thereof), read messages in Outlook Express with JFW. Don't know if
this helps or not, but I've found a couple of ways to do this without going
into Reply mode just to read your messages.
The normal method I use is just hit the Enter key to enter the message, then
hit the space bar to advance to the next screen until the end of the
message.
Hitting a Control+D deletes that message, jumps to the next message, makes
sure the window is maximized, then reads the message screen!
The second method, if you want to hear it line-by-line with the down arrow
is to hit the JawsCursor key, Numpad Dash. This puts you on the first line
of the message, and you can use the down arrow to arrow down through that
screen, and when you reach the end of that screen, hit the space bar to
bring up the next screen--the JawsCursor is placed at the top line on that
screen, and you use the down arrow to continue through the message.
If you like that method, you could assign the JawsCursor() function within
the script that invokes the Control+D delete command, so that it would
ensure the JawsCursor was invoked on the next message once the current
message was deleted!
Just a suggestion to get around the lack of a true cursor to follow!
Thanks,
Dennis Brown
