Hi Holly:
Take my advice as an experienced IRC user and one who has tried all of the
IRC programs for Windows -- forget MIRC; forget Pirch, forget VIRC; use
IRCII, which is freeware and is very speech friendly with JFW in the "say
all" mode. The other programs will drive you crazy and you do not benefit
to any greater degree from using them. A second choice is Microsoft Chat,
which also works fiarly well with speech. Good luck!
