Hello Walter;

I am using Eudora Pro V4.1 and am encountering the same problem. The only
work around I have been able to come up with is as follows. close the
"Reply to Author" window immediately and do not save it as it is directing
your reply to the next author who has a message on the list. I then arrow
up the summary of messages to locate the original message to which I wanted
to reply directly to author and re-open that message. Pressing the "Reply
to Author" hot keys at this point will now direct Eudora to create a
message to the correct author. This appears to be a bug worth reporting to
HJ. Will you write to them or shall I?
