jennifer you do not say what program this occurs in, notepad used to be pretty
bad at this, one reason many people use a differant text editor, like text
pad.
if you go to jfw friendly aps, on the jfw list server you can find links to
several.
text pad was rated the number one shareware editor, of course their are many
numerous ones out their.
several are free and work about as good as text pad.
programers seem to like ultra edit.
