Greetings,
On one hand, I can understand H-J's unwillingness to support JFW if it really isn't
designed to run on a network server.
Perhaps, the best solution is, currently, to install JFW on each workstation where it
is needed, provided that sufficient
numbers of licenses and authorization keys have been purchased.
However, on the other hand, H-J produces a special kind of software. A screen reader
is likely to be used in many
different environments, even those for which it was not specifically designed. JAWS
does, after all, stand for Job
Access with Speech. H-J should, imho, do its best to help the customer determine a
solution that will solve the
customer's particular problem. H-J should not, therefore, simply excuse themselves
from the attempt to solve the
customer's problem by simply saying that the customer is doing something that is
unsupported. In my view, this is not
good. Again, JAWS stands for Job Access with Speech. This acronym was developed by
H-J...
The preceeding was just my $.02. Regards.
