No, what you describe is the endless sleep.  That's KILLING jaws.
Putting jaws to "sleep" means making jaws get out of the way while an
application does it's thing, and having it wake up when that application is
through.
Leonard Salinas, in an earlier message, described very well how to put jaws
to sleep.
