Hi Teresa, just create a shortcut to ICQ, witch you can then place on
your desktop if you like. then, go to the properties of that shortcut
and assign it a shortcut key. Or perhaps I should be a little more
accurate, a Hot Key. Then simply pressing the Hot Key will bring up
ICQ.

Hi, Jaimie and everyone,
I use the JAWS cursor almost exclusively with ICQ. Also, I haven't
found a
way to bring it back once it's minimized other than labeling its
graphic in
the system tray. I'm sure you all have had the experience of clicking
on
unknown graphics to see what happens ... yikes! And you have to
double-click on ICQ's.
Anyway, here's how to label graphics:
Get into the application you want to work with. Find a graphic you
want to
label; JAWS will usually say "graphic" followed by a number as in
"graphic
444". Place the JAWS cursor on that graphic and press insert+g.
You'll
hear some information about the graphics labeler. You should
eventually
hear "graphic label edit". Type in your label, then tab to the next
optional field for a Braille label. You can use this if you want a
shorter
label for your Braille display. Tab again, and you'll come to a group
of
radio buttons, save to application file (the application you're working
with) save to default file (which will allow JAWS to recognize the
graphic
from wherever you are in Windows) and save to both. Since ICQ's icon
likes
to live in the system tray, I use the both option in the case of that
particular graphic. Anyway, tab to the ok button, or check for the
default
button and press enter.
