What I think you did was to download a screen saver that is from the new
yyork or the screen saver is from the New York Times. To turn off this
screen saver, go to the control saver and choose the "display" icon and some
where in one of those tabs or menues is an ottion for savers, just select
antoher screen saver or choose none from the pull down menu. Jaws does not
need the monitor turned, I do not have it on right now. If the screen is
not turned on there is no need for a screen saver. I can not not see the
screen so I never turn on the monitor.
