Might I suggest the nethack home page?  It will be necessary to turn
IBM_graphics off in the nethack.cnf file (read the comments in that file)
and then nethack comes up all in ascii.  I've played nethack for several
years and have yet to win the game.  Let's see if I can get this right:

That page has lots of games on it most of which work with jaws.
nethack also has a newsgroup that supports it:
