Hello Jeff and All -
I did reply to your message right after you posted it. Apparently, you
missed the reply. I am sending it again, for your convenience.
My copy of Cute FTP 2.8 only has two status lines, not three. I don't know
what the third line is or why you have it and I don't. Since I only have
two lines, the script to read the status lines was only designed to read
two. If you can find out what the third one is, let me know. In fact, I
don't know whether you have an extra line at the top, the middle or the
bottom.
The frame you mentioned was designed at 800 by 600 resolution. That is why
you aren't getting anything. That frame is designed to read part of the
status area automatically when the term PWD appears in the frame. If you
do not run at 800 by 600 nothing bad will happen, you just won't hear those
automatic status announcements. The hot key Control+5 is just for manual
reading of that status area.
