Ken, thanks for the second reply. I don't know how I missed the first
one. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyway, the third status line is below the 2 you have defined in your
scripts. For instance, I tried connecting to a site which was
offline. The first status line indicated the site to which I was
attempting to connect. The second status line said something like:
Error> Interrupted by user. And, the third status line said something
about attempting to reconnect.
When I'm downloading a file, the first line gives some time info which
seems relatively useless, actually. The second line indicates the
name of the file that I've successfully downloaded and the third line
indicates the file I'm currently receiving. In other words, the third
status line seems to be the one that indicates the current activity.
Since you indicated that the frame you had defined was for 800 by 600,
I deleted that frame and defined one for the third status line so any
change to that line would speak. I also assigned the CTRL-5 to that
frame so I could check that line at any time.
Again, I'm using Cute FTP version 2.8 which is what I understood the
scripts to be for. Thanks again for the reply.
