Hello!
Why not save the files to a disk? It is so much easier to find things on
disk than on hard drive, and just as easy. In the "Save as" just hit the
home key, type in a:\ and tab to files of type, hit the T for text and tab
to ok and hit enter.
Why clog the hard drive with clutter and never be able to find the files
without jumping through hoops?
Hi, Kevin and listers,
I can never remember where I put things on this computer, so I spend a lot
of time doing this to find files:
1 From the start menu select Find Files and Folders,
2 Press enter twice until you hear the word file and are asked to give the
name of the file you want,
3 type the file name as well as you remember it,
4 tab to the place that says Find, and press enter.
It will begin by telling you that there are zero files found, but in a
couple of seconds it should show you your file and sometimes others that
have similar names or which are associated with the same program. If you
like, you can delete files from this list and they go to the Recycle bin.
