Les. It is true that the blt40 is the only display to my knowledge that
will allow you to select text from its keyboard. If memory serves, the
commands are dot 1 with spacebar, also called chord dot 1, to makr prior
line, chord dot 4 to mark next line, chord dot 2 and 5 to mark previous or
next work, chord dot 3 or 6 to mark previous or next character, chord dot
1-3 or 2-5 to mark to beginning or end of line, chord dots 1-2-3 or 4-5-6
to mark to the end of the document, and I think chord dots 2-3 or 5-6 to
mark a sentence or paragraph. Ican't remember the others, but everything is
adequately explained in the jfw help system.
