If you've had Dectalk problems, you ian't seen nothing yet. My dectalk2 pc
internal speak all these random letters without them even existing. It
would say, (x-save document), and hear is how Dectalk gets around this
problem.
They will tell you it is a well known problem, and since it is, you knew
going in, therefore, they won't take it back, exchange it, etc.
I purchased mine from some one recomended by Jaws. he put the Dec in, then
said he'd never heard of the problem I was having either. Then a few months
later after convincing me to stick with it, which is another ploy cause
once you go over the thirty day period, you are ----out of luck.
Then a few months later, after synconizing his story with his
manufacturer, he then turned around and said, oh, he'd heard of it, in
fact, its a well known problem, but now its too late, and besides, you knew
going in, so you purchased at your own risk.
Buyer beware when purchasing a Dectalk. Great card, poor reaction time,
poor defections that they absolutely no plans of fixing.
Go to the external if you can. Get rid of that thing called the pc
internal. At least the external has different firmware and might help. This
way you can always say, if there is even a slight chance to make your
situation better, go for it, otherwise, you sit there all stupid like and
just except it.
