I really hope that the next version of jfw will let you read the dialog box
that comes up with ctrl-alt-delete
good golly grief! yesterday I was on the phone to the support center here
in Melbourne and I asked the guy how do you make jfw read the checkboxes in
the windows setup tab of the control pannel, and the pathetic little excuse
for a tech support officer proceeded to ask me what the heck was I doing
diddling in the control pannel, trying to make me look like a fool!
answering my questions with more questions, trying to stear around the
subject and generally projecting a negative attitude, and trying to do his
best to make me feel dumb and that I didn't know anything about
screenreaders, or computer hardware, it's a common trick with tech support
staff who don't know their stuff, so I was told today by a nameless friend.
I was also told by someone else that he'd heard some not so good remarks
made about the quality of tech support for jfw here.
I am beginning to wonder if jfw is worth my playing around with any longer,
I mean, the guy at tech support I always manage to get through to is most
rude and arogant in his know-it-all manner.
if you want to make some statements on this matter and you feel like naming
names, then please, email me privately, otherwize you can tell us about
your experiences, providing you do not name names.
thanks for listening.
