Hi, Dan, what you are hearing is the label that has been given to the
graphic found at the beginning of the favorite line. To get rid of this
label you can 1. type 'alt+a' while in internet explorer to bring up the
favorites menu. 2. find any of the favorites that have the spoken
'application control menu', 3. route jaws to pc 4. move the jaws cursor
to the label, 5. type the 'insert+g' jfw command to bring up the graphics
labeler, and once the dialog box is on screen whack the spacebar. 6.
Whack the enter key and the 'application control menu' label will no longer
be spoken. In fact you now have replaced it with a space. I think the
reason you are not hearing this label spoken on all the menu items is that
simply the graphic that indicates a group of favorites in a submenu is not
labeled and that you possibly have 'speak only label graphics' turned on in
the configuration manager. Hope this is is of help to you.
