Hi Brad,
To make the change you want a permanent one. You must make the change
from within the configuration manager. Remember, you must also save
the file after making the changes and before exiting the configuration
manager. Changes made via the Insert+v dialogue are not permanent and
were never supposed to be. They simply allowed the user to experiment
with various settings before making anything permanent. Just so that
you could see what worked best for you.

I'm probably doing something wrong but,
i presseed insert+v and got the verbosity menu.
AFter making sure I was on user verbosity, I pressed space until I
heard
the word advanced. Feeling cocky, I closed the verbosity dialog or
whatever it's called
by hitting the close button.
The next time I loaded Jaws, it was back to the beginner's level.
Hmm, Maybe I'm not so advanced as all that after all.
Any ideas?
