Bob,

I seriously think shutting Scandisk off is mistake. I would suggest editing 
Scandisk.ini which can be found in the Windows\Command folder. In this file you 
can set scan disk to run without prompting and to not use a floppy for undo 
information. Essentially it will run automatically if needed and require no 
response from the user.
