I have noticed a slight problem / anoyence with JFW. when you start it
and your default synth is a hardware synth and for what ever reason you
forget to turn on the power to the synth, the computer locks up. the only
thing that can be done is to restart the PC. several of my friends have
noticed this problem and get very frustrated with it when it happens.
would there be a way to detect that the synth is not responding and then
switch to a software synth so this problem can be avoided? this would be
a neet feature since the Eloqence is always installed.
