Dave,
I haven't experienced the problem myself (yet-- I'm installing the card
this weekend). But I've seen this question on a couple of other lists.
The response is always: Go to the sblive web site and download the
updated drivers for the card. (I don't know why Creative Labs doesn't
just include the updated drivers with the card.)
I think the website is : www.sblive.com (anybody correct me if I'm wrong
about the address).
