Hi,

I would say that the problem is that the eudora script for 3.3 is different
for the eudora script for 3.2.

if you switch from 3.2 to 3.3 and eudora is still running, then the 3.2
script is still loaded and it will not work with 3.3.

When you reload Eudora, then the correct script is loaded and everything
works properly.

The same holds if you go from 3.3 to 3.2. You need to load the correct
script.

I have seen this problem with outlook98. I don't know why the 3.2 script
will not work with 3.3 but this seems to be the case.

Cheers,

Tim

Subject: Ticket No. 32302 FW: freaky global voice take over and more

The problem with the Global Voice settings taking over all the other voice
settings has disappeared. I don't know what caused it or what caused it to
go away.
Concerning the other issue with loosing the ability to read most text in
Eudora, I have additional information.

1. If I am in Eudora 4.0 and switch between JFW 3.20.31 and the beta copy
(regardless of which was loaded first) the problem is activated. By
"switching" I mean that I unload one and load the other without exiting
Eudora.

2. If I exit Eudora and reload it, then, regardless of which version of JFW
is running, the problem disappears.

Another words, when I'm running Eudora 4.0, I cannot switch between the
versions of JFW32 and 33 without also reloading Eudora. If I don't do this,
then nothing within Eudora reads properly; message text, lists, etc.
I am not sure if this happens with any other application. I would love to
know if this happens with anyone else system.
