jaws loosing focus in eudora 4.0

Someone called me, she is using jfw, 3.2.31, and eudora 4.0.  She says that
when she goes to reply to a message, she can't read her replies that she is
writing, with the pc cursor on, if she does a say line, it says blank.  She
can read her incoming messages fine.  The only scripts that she is using is
the ones that came with jfw.  Has anybody had this problem?
