Hi listers,
I have had this problem from time to time with eudora 4.0 and 4.1.
I work with Eudora every day on the job and it generally works fine. Tell
your friend, when she replys and the focus seems to be lost, to try ctrl
tab. What seems to be happening at times is that the task manager in Eudora
is taking the focus leaving the message in the background. Either that or
the original message is taking the focus. Ctrl tab will switch between all
the child windows that may be open in the program. Also make sure that she
has, "use microsoft viewer" turned off in the tools/options section under
viewing mail. Almost forgot, turn off "preview pane" as well.
Good luck
