Hi Yousef,
I can answer your first question. When you upgrade to 98 in will be an
upgrade not start from scratch. In fact, when you put in the 98 CD it
will ask you if you want to upgrade. Most everything in the install will
talk. The hardware detection part can be a bit tricky, but once you get
past that, it should be smooth sailing.
