Hi List,
Well I took the big plunge!!!
Today I installed Windows 98 and I am trying to use it with JFW3.2without
much luck.
I will list the problems below.
1: My Decktalk Express has stopped working since I have installed Windows
98 I reinstalled JFW 3.2 and selected it again and selected ** Com Port 2
** as required and I cant get it to work when I select it from the Synth
List in JFW .
The Decktalk Express worked fine in Windows 95.
2: I have Unchecked the Active Desktop Feature and I have the Windows
Classic opption selected and I do not have My Desktop checked to look like
a Web Page.
Well here is the problems
If I have JFW sitting on the desktop and Do the ** Insert + F9 key ** JfW
tells me that their are no Frames Found on Page in other words JFW is
treating the Desktop like it is a web page even though I do not have that
selection checked.
Also If I perform a ** Insert + F10 key ** to get JFW to read all the
Applications on the Task Bar JFW tells me ** The Task Bar is not Visible **
I have the Task Bar checked as Allways on top in the Task Bar Opptions.
Finally the last problem is whenever I open a folder in Windows 98 JFW 3.2
will not read any of the selections in it you just have to try to arrow
through them.
For example if you Highlight My Computer and press enter usally JFW will
respond by saying Not Selected 3 and a half Floppy 1 of 6 and then you just
press the letter for the function that you want .
For example just say that I pressed enter on Control Panel JFW 3.2 would
say in Windows 95 not selected Accesssability 1 of 25
But when I do exactly the same thing in Windows 98 JFW 3.2 Just says 1 of
25 not reading any of the list at all.
Any Ideas?
Could someone please help as I would like to keep using Windows 98.
