Hello,
Indeed there is a website on "Altavista" that does translate various
languages into others. I have used it and found it quite good. But beware,
check the document after translation for errors. I encountered some
grammatical errors when translating into German.
Anyway, all you need to do is: go to the website (I'm sure there is a link
to it from Altavista's main site)). There is a "field" at the top of the
page that says something like "type in the URL or...", here you can paste
the document you want to translate. You then choose the languages and click
translate. The document you paste in must be in plain text format with no
formatting symbols, for example, codes to indicate if it's bold etc...
You then get a webpage returned to you with your chosen translation. You
then can copy and paste it into a Wordprocessor.
If you need anymore help, e-mail me.
Regards,
Andy
