Greetings.
I found your e-mail very interesting since ms speech has been around and
does work with other screen readers.
Lacking a second computer, i have not replicated what you did to try to
test the ms speech on version 3.2.31.
I hope that ms speech is perfected so more many benefit from any
innovation. I simply hope that perhaps users of 3.2 can actually use the ms
speech since other friends of mine with other software can and do use it.
Now that there are several synthesizers, i simply hope that the screen
readers like JAWS, WindowEyes etc. will be developed to work with ms speech,
the various Decktalks including the Access 32 and in the case of JAWs,
Eloquence so that our options for better speech are widened--and that no
speech synthesizer is neglected or "left behind" or ignored. One has to
wonder if the R D will support or continue to support Decktalk Access 32
with all this emphasis on Eloquence and ms
You certainly wrote a very clear message and that may help others
perhaps replicate that test.speech.&
