I believe the "Message Voice" refers to the voice with which JFW reports the
formatting of text information that it gives you when you check the"Speak
Text Formatting" option under the Format options section of the settings menu
of the Configuration Manager.
Information such as cap, All Cap, Font type, and Font Size are then read to
you in the message voice as you read through a document.
If I have misunderstood this feature, please let me know.
