JAWS for Windows 3.3 Now Shipping from Henter-Joyce

St. Petersburg, Fla. -- May 20, 1999 -- Henter-Joyce, Inc. has announced the
shipment of JAWS for Windows 3.3 Screen Reader Software.  Software
Maintenance Agreement (SMA) and JFW Upgrade shipments will be sent first,
with full product shipments to begin soon after.
The newest version of JAWS for Windows includes a number of new features and
functions, including compatibility with MAGic 6.1 Screen Magnification
Software  and support for many popular applications, including Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5, Office 2000, PowerPoint 97, RealPlayer G2, and GoldMine
4.0 Contact Management Software. Improved scripts have been provided for
Access 97, Excel 97, Outlook 98, Word 97, Eudora Pro, and Eudora Lite.

JAWS for Windows 3.3 also features new and improved voices in the FREE
Eloquence for JFW software speech synthesizer; the ability to read or
navigate by sentence or paragraph; SayAll by sentences or paragraphs; read
blank lines in SayAll; a JAWS Message Voice; a System Tray Dialog Box; text
attribute and formatting announcements and an Auto Graphics Labeler.
Additional features include Grade 2 Braille translation; HJPad - a
comprehensive word processor/training tool application; a window list; key
labeling/silencing; announcement of cursor shape; mouse click interrupts
speech; improved scripting capabilities; improved laptop keyboard layout;
network authorization; support for the Apollo 2 External Synthesizer in
Windows NT; ECO Braille display support; and the inclusion of the Microsoft
Text-to-Speech Engine on the CD ROM.

MAGic 6.1 Screen Magnification Software for Windows NT 4.0
Now Shipping from Henter-Joyce

St. Petersburg, Fla. -- May 20, 1999 -- Henter-Joyce, Inc. has announced the
release and shipment of MAGic 6.1 for Windows NT.
The newest version of MAGic Screen Magnification Software, a product line
acquired by Henter-Joyce from Microsystems Software, Inc. in June 1997, is
available as a free upgrade to anyone who has purchased it from Henter-Joyce
since the acquisition. Those who purchased MAGic from Henter-Joyce and wish
to receive the upgrade may use the forms provided with the software or print
and fax the form found on the company web site at www.hj.com.  Only the
version designed for use in Windows NT is currently being shipped, but MAGic
6.1 with support for Windows 98 and 95 will be available soon.
MAGic 6.1 includes many features and functions not found in previous
releases. Some of these include compatibility with JAWS for Windows Screen
Reader Software; a redesigned graphic interface for low-vision users and
pop-up help for all active items on the user interface.
MAGic 6.1 also features seven different magnification modes, including
horizontal and vertical split-screens, a lens that tracks the mouse pointer,
a lens that tracks the focused item, a magnification overlay, full screen
magnification and no magnification.
Additional features include user-customized smoothing of on-screen items
including fonts and graphics; choice of cursor colors and shapes;
independent mouse magnification settings; user-customized screen color
settings to screen out unwanted colors; custom border width and color
settings; a choice of screen locators to show relation of magnification to
full screen  and automatic tracking and stop/start controls.
