reading properly in outlook

I have the new patch installed, and when I am in outlook, I am still having
a problem knowing what is the correct item highlighted.  it is reading the
item before and sometimes after especially in the folders.  I am having to
go up and down with the arrow itself to make sure I am on the correct item.
In the in box, it reads straight through and it is only after I hit the
control key to silence the speech then by going through with the cursor keys
I know which message I am on.  Thank goodness I can see the red in the
hilight.  am I explaining my self clearly?  If not, write back and I will
try to do better.  I keep thinking there is something that I don't have set
properly because I have n't seen this problem addressed on the list.
