Try setting up a filter and sending the posts from this person directly into
the delete folder. Does this also happen when you hit on his name with the
Jaws cursor?
Do you have the latest patch for whichever JFW you are using? If not I
would also suggest you download and install this to see if that patch would
assist you in keeping from crashing.

I have a Pentium 450 running Windows 98 and JFW 3.2. I happen to be on a
few listservs. Whenever I get a message from one specific person, my entire
speech crashes. As soon as my cursor goes on his name--something like Merv
Keck--my speech dies and I have to reboot. I have tried turning off JAWS
first and then just deleting his message, but even that doesn't work. When
I restart JAWS, it just won't come up.
Can anyone solve this incredibly annoying mystery? I don't even know this
gentleman and I spend more time thinking about him than many of my friends.
