Hello Steve,
That is exactly what I used to think until I tested the permissions myself. If
you setup the permissions to be READ/WRITE for the drive I mentioned in my
email i.e "i:" you will be able to read the set file that you need, but if you
decide to make changes to them and then save the changes (without the MODIFY
permission) it will not work. You will get a message to the effect "You have no
permissions to modify this file". However, you save the changes that you made
to the original set files and save the changes to new file names (using your
WRITE permissions).
