Hi Muhammad and others,
Here is my contribution to the discussion on the "super" problem.
I have made extensive use of the "Super" functions since JFW 3.2 days. It
worked ok then except as Theresa says, one had to use the Insert plus 3
command to tell jaws to ignore the following command (known as pass
through).
Since the arrival of JFW 3.3 all this has changed. The difficulty relates
to JFW turning off the Key Repeat function - normally a good thing. But
for these "winding" and "super winding" functions, the application relies
on keys being held down and thus repeat key is required. What you need to
do is turn "key repeat" back on in the JFW configuration file for Real
Player. Here are steps that work for me.
- Open the Real Player;
- Open the Jaws Configuration Manager;
- Go to the "set options" menu,
- Select "user options";
- Tab to the "key repeat" field and check it using the spacebar;
- Press OK and work your way back out of Configuration Manager saving the
new Real Player configuration.
Good luck!
Stephen
