Hi Les.

Been there done that.
1.  Go to Tools/options
3. Control Tab to the Other TabbedPage
4. Press Tab until you land on the Advanced Options button then press Enter.
5.  Press Tab until you land on the Add In manager button then press enter
6.  Down arrow to the Symatic WinFax Starter edition list item and un-check
it with the space bar.
7.  Press all the Ok buttons appropriate for exiting each dialog box.

Also in the Tools menu there is a Send & Receive submenu.  Go into that
submenu and make sure the Symantic winfax is not checked.

Hi Listers,

I have just started using Outlook 98, and am quite pleased with the product
in conjunction with speech access.  By default, the program was installed
using all accounts, which included Symantec's Fax program.  How can I
deactivate the fax being checked and initiated every time e-mail is
downloaded?  I looked under e-mail options, but could not find a way to
disable this feature.  Thanks for any assistance.
