Yes that is right, I had the same problem because I use Winfax pro and the
controller keeps running. I had to uninstall and reinstall it then
reconfigure my modem in the dial up networking and Winfax pro . However
this does not mean that it will not conflict with other programs using the
modem.You might need to close them before dialing and re-examine all your
dial up settings .
