You can do it another way: Press Shift Tab twice to get into the Save In
..." ComboBox, and you'll get a list of drives and folders in the ComboBox
when you Enter, or arrow to your C Drive and enter there. Then Press P for
Programs'accessories, W for Windows95 and tab over to save, and press
enter. The file will then be saved in the Widows95 (Win95) folder.
WordPad can't or won't iopen files that haven't text in them or that are
executables. An executable file is a program in itself. Hope this works
some. and

: I went to the download folder, oepened it, went to cardfile, used
control+c
: to copy it to the clipboard, then created and opened a folder on C:\
called
: cardfile, opened it and pasted the clipboard into it. It said it could
not
: open this file with notepad, the choice of programs I told to open the
file.
: Then It asked me If I would like to open the file in wordpad instead. So
I
: said yes and got the message of
: Wordpad cannot open a file with the extension of .exe.
: I am stumped! Any suggestions?
