Yep.  I'm not sure why you're getting repeats of "Selected" or "Not Selected," but my 
Outlook Express does tell me the unread messages while giving no status for the read 
ones.  I suppose you could fiddle with the script a little and get it to speak both 
read and unread all the time, but I'm happy the way it is now.
